Each gameweek we choose a Dream Team of players who we think can return good points. We use data, and statistics to calculate the best possible team for the upcoming gameweek, which is also affordable within the FPL £100m budget.

Here are the results from our Gameweek 12 picks.

Gameweek 12 Dream Team – Results

Allison – 7pts
A cool 7pts for Allison this week provided us with a good start to the Dream Team. A clean sheet and 1 save point meant Allison kept his position as the number 2 ranked goalkeeper in FPL overall.

Alonso | Trippier | Robertson – 21pts
Marcos Alonso delivered again this week with 8pts, from a clean sheet and 2 bonus. Injury cut Kieran Trippier‘s game to just 23 minutes and 1 point, missing out on the clean sheet that Spurs eventually kept at Crystal Palace. Andrew Robertson excelled as one of our 3 Liverpool picks in the Dream Team, delivering a clean sheet, assist and all 3 bonus points, for a total of 12pts.

Fraser | Salah | Brooks | Pereyra – 18pts
With 6pts Ryan Fraser delivered an assist and 1 bonus point. Mohamed Salah got us a goal and clean sheet to make his total 8pts. Budget pick David Brooks could only manage 2pts, and Roberto Pereyra failed to deliver for the second week running with just 2pts also.

Aguero | Vardy | Ings – 22pts
7pts was the score this week from the ever present Sergio Aguero, also our captain, a goal and 1 bonus point helped him on his way. Jamie Vardy was unable to take anything from the Burnley defence and deliverd 2pts. Budget pick Danny Ings proved well with 6pts from an assist and 2 bonus points, despite only playing 39 minutes.

Total – 68 Points

This weeks FPL average was 48pts, so we consider this week to be a success for the Dream Team, we did not beat our record of lasts weeks 70pts, but considering the average we think that was a very good score. We hope you enjoy our weekly Dream Teams, and find them useful when choosing your own team, please feel free to comment below on how you did this week with your FPL scores!
