The Dream Team GW16

This weekly feature article outlines our picks for this weeks Dream Team. We use data and statistics to calculate the best possible team for the upcoming gameweek which is also affordable within the FPL £100m budget.

Gameweek 16 Dream Team

Fabianski
Following from his selection last week and getting us 9pts, Lukasz Fabianski keeps his place in the Dream Team this week. The polish goalkeeper has a strong fixture at home to Crystal Palace, and was unlucky not to add a clean sheet to his penalty save last week.

Kolasinac – Dunk – Doherty
A home tie with Huddersfield for inform Arsenal brings Sead Kolasinac into our Dream Team, the left wing back has been getting into the opposition penalty area more than any other defender recently, and has goal threat and clean sheet potential. Lewis Dunk comes in as Brighton face Burnley, a strong fixture and good budget option. Matt Doherty makes another appearance this week, and could do well against Newcastle for in-form Wolves.

Salah – Felipe Anderson – Richarlison – Lingard
Mohamed Salah retains his place as he prepares to face Bournemouth after being rested in midweek. Felipe Anderson remains as West Hams kind run of fixtures continue against Crystal Palace. Richarlison also keeps his place, he was back on the wing in midweek, but it will be interesting to see if he returns up front for the trip to Watford. We have gone for Jesse Lingard as our wildcard pick in midfield, he faces a Fulham side in mismatched form and got himself back amongst the goals against Arsenal in midweek.

Kane – Chicharito – Aubameyang
Harry Kane was our captain last week and delivered 24pts for us, he keeps his place against a Leicester side he has a habit of scoring against. Chicharito makes his first appearance in the Dream Team as an injury ruling Marko Arnautovic out until new year, could help him cement a place in a West Ham side with very good fixtures over the coming weeks. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang comes in as our captain, he is the leagues top goalscorer, and will be fancied to add to his tally with a home fixture against Huddersfield.
