Each gameweek we choose a Dream Team of players who we think can return good points. We use data, and statistics to calculate the best possible team for the upcoming gameweek, which is also affordable within the FPL £100m budget.

Here are the results from our Gameweek 11 picks.

Gameweek 11 Dream Team – Results

Fabianski – 1pt
Just the 1 point for Lukas Fabianski this week, which fell short of expectations, only one save in a game where there was plenty of action was a disappointment. Especially considering he has one of the highest save counts in the league.

Alonso | Mendy | Trippier | Laporte – 14pts
Marcos Alonso (6pts) delivered some attacking points with an assist, and narrowly missed out on clean sheet points, which, could have helped him get even more than his 1 bonus point. Benjamin Mendy (2pts) had an unusually quiet game given the scoreline, and also narrowly missed out on a clean sheet. Keiran Tripper (4pts) delivered an assist, but also picked up a -1 for conceding 2 goals. Aymeric Laporte (2pts) was in the team for his clean sheet potential, unfortunately that did not pay off as with Mendy.

Hazard | Richarlison | Pereyra – 21pts
Eden Hazard was named on the bench and only got 26 minutes against Crystal Palace, he did however manage to save his owners with an assist to register 4pts. Richarlison delivered a big 15pt haul with 2 goals and 3 bonus, to reward his loyal adopters. Roberto Pereyra (2pts) had a quiet week following his run of 19pts in the previous 2 game weeks.

Aguero | Wilson | Mitrovic – 34pts
Sergio Aguero, our captain pick also, rewarded us with a brilliant 26pts thanks to 1 goal, 2 assists and 2 bonus points. The only blemish was a yellow card he picked up to cost us 2pts. Callum Wilson also delivered for us away to Manchester United, delivering a goal and 2 bonus points for a total of 7 points. Again a yellow card cost us 1pt here. Aleksandar Mitrovic failed to register any returns against Huddersfield, and also picked up a yellow card, reducing his output for us to just 1 point in total.

Total – 70 Points

With the FPL average of 52, we consider this week to be a success for the Dream Team, but hope to improve on this when we pick our Dream Team for GW12 later this week.
